Upworthy: Pay it Forward Pizza
ART NOT WAR’s debut for Upworthy told the story of Mason Wartman, who abandoned his gig on Wall Street for a life as a Philadelphia dollar-slice pizzaiolo. Little did Wartman know his shop, Rosa’s, would become a beautiful experiment in human spirit when customers began the tradition of pre-purchasing slices for homeless folks and others in need. ART NOT WAR traveled to Philly to capture the story from the perspective of those whose lives were touched. At 60 million+ views and counting, ART NOT WAR’s video remains Upworthy’s most successful piece of original content.
