As the GOP threatened to take America over a Fiscal Cliff in late 2012, cuts to Social Security and Medicare became a dangerously real possibility for our nation’s most vulnerable. So MoveOn called upon its members to speak out to President Obama and state Senators, urging them to protect Americans who need it most. In this ad, Art Not War traveled to Bozeman, MT to tell the story of a woman named Joan who relied on Social Security and Medicare after being diagnosed with a neuro-immune disorder in her 30s.
