On the month anniversary of Trayvon Martin’s shooting, Color of Change and MoveOn asked Art Not War to produce a live rally and musical performance calling for his murdererer’s arrest. ANW brought together a live band fronted by rapper Jasiri X, and covered the event with a four cameras.
The very next day, ANW delivered a documentary music video incorporating footage from the rally and a march for Trayvon filmed by our mobile crew earlier that week in Washington DC. The video received almost 120,000 views. Two weeks later, after a nationwide groundswell of grassroots action, Trayvon’s killer was arrested.
